Berkshire Aviation is proud to offer a fleet of rental aircraft for your training, travel, and recreational flying needs. Our fleet includes:

Piper Our aircraft are meticulously maintained by our own in-house maintenance shop.  To rent you must have at least an airplane single engine land certificate, current medical or basic med, be current in ASEL and have the required insurance.  Before any rental is allowed, a checkout by one of the instructors is necessary. Please contact us for current dual and solo rates. Below you will find detailed information on each of our aircraft.

Piper Cherokee Warrior II - N31082

Warrior IIs are primarily distinguished from their Cherokee predecessors by their tapered and two-foot-wider wingspans. They seat four and while the Warrior I is 150 hp, the Warrior II has 160 hp. N31082 is IFR WAAS.

Piper Arrow III - N809M

Get your Complex Endorsement! The Piper Arrow is a true four-place airplane with retractable landing gear, and a constant speed propeller. With a Lycoming IO-360 engine of 200 hp it cruises at ~130 kts. Equipped with a GNS430 (non-WAAS) it’s a great IFR/go-place airplane.

Piper Dakota - N8255J

Get your High Performance Endorsement. The Dakota is a four-place, fixed landing gear plane with a Lycoming O-540 engine of 235 hp. It is equipped with a GNS 530W (WAAS), GNS430W and an S-Tec 55 autopilot that is fully IFR-capable, with nav and glide slope intercepts that make it ideal for approaches. This airplane is the perfect go-place IFR machine!

Piper Cherokee - N7520R

PA-28-140

The Cherokee is a two place all metal aircraft that’s stable and docile. It’s a great trainer and fun for local flying. This particular Cherokee was built in 1966 and is STC-ed with a 150 hp Lycoming O-320. In short, 7520R or “The Banana Berry” as she's affectionally called, is a blast to fly.
